The only thing better than our awesome server and the fun tour was .. the whisky!! Totally worth the tasting!
This stop was the highlight of our tripperiod for $5 you get your choice a shot glass, a sample of all of the spirits they make, and a wonderful tour of the facility. The owner is a man of many talents and very kind and interesting. You can also try on some of the wood hats that he makes and are on display at the store. The liquor is amazing, especially the blue corn whiskey. All of the liquor is made from local ingredients and crafted with care.It is well worth the stop.
Gary and Katy, like their spirits, are "Top Shelf." They're a wealth of knowledge and a delight to meet. I'll definitely be stopping in again to sample Wood Hat Spirits and to say hello!
